As they stood together in a tight embrace, the newly engaged couple dreamed of fast-forwarding to their wedding day. Being together at one of their favorite spots was always a treat, and they decided to preserve that experience for the years to come ahead. They closed their eyes and smiled as they listened to each other's breath, feeling at home.
Proposal photos are a great way to get warmed up prior to your wedding, and allow us to get to know each other even more. But they're also a way for you and your partner to express yourselves and capture the essence of your relationship without being bound to the tight timeline and location perimeter of your wedding day. You'll have beautiful photos to share on Instagram and your wedding website, and you can also create printed items for your wedding such as save-the-dates, guest book albums, and canvases for decor.
We encourage you to express yourselves as a couple in your photos- bring any props or items of value, wear what feels like you, and pick a location with significance! We'll create a balanced gallery of both candid images capturing your true love and curated images that you'll want to display.

HOW IT WORKS
OUR PROCESS
01
initial meeting
After you reach out, we will be in touch within 48 hours to chat more about your session.
Through email or a phone call, we'll discuss your session in more detail, and design the perfect session for you.

MAKING IT OFFICIAL
We'll make it official by completing a custom proposal tailored to your session. Then, we'll send over a welcome brochure that will help us gather more information and provide you with helpful tips and tricks for your session.

your session
This is the fun part! We'll meet at the perfect location and capture stunning images of you and your partner. You can expect your session to include cuddles, laughter, playing, and exploring.

delivering your images
The turnaround time is usually between 4-6 weeks for proposal galleries, and you'll have sneak peeks in your inbox no later than 48 hours after our time together!
Our editing process consists of standard color, exposure corrections, and light touch-ups for portraits.
Once you receive your gallery, you'll gain access to our print shop, where you can order and create a variety of physical copies of your images to cherish forever.
Will you travel to photograph my Session?
Absolutely! All of our portrait packages include up to 50 miles of travel from 78232 and 80128 (San Antonio, TX, and Littleton, CO). We offer all-inclusive destination packages for all other locations. But we can chat more specifically during your consultation :)
what if we're awkard in front of the camera?
I've got you! I promise that during our time together, the awkwardness will last maybe five or ten minutes before you loosen up and start forgetting the camera is even there.
My process works so well because it is movement and interaction-focused. You can't focus on how strange it is to have
the paparazzi following you when you're busy tackling your partner ;)
how far in advance should we book you?
We typically open our books three months in advance, so reach out ASAP to ensure we save your date!
What happens if you can't attend my session anymore?

After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions, I think it's safe to say I've seen just about everything. Whether it's rain, extreme heat, snow, or a sharknado, we've got your back. We are cool under pressure and think quick on our feet, so you can relax, knowing that rain or shine, we won't miss a thing.
How do you protect my images before delivery?
- Using dual-slot cameras that record to multiple SD cards
- Retiring older SD cards on a regular basis
- Backing up your images to multiple locations ASAP after your session
- Keeping your original and edited images for at least one year after delivery

We believe that your photography experience should be easy and tailored to you, so our packages are built to be customized with add-ons.
Based on your vision, we will work together to create a package custom-fitted to your needs. Proposal photography starts at $500, with the average KDC client investing $500.
