As she looked at her child, she felt overwhelmed with both pride and astonishment. She couldn't believe that she was the mother of a senior- it felt as though she was driving away from the first day of kindergarten just yesterday.
Just as your kiddo seemingly became a soon-to-be graduate overnight, ten years from now, you'll be looking at them on their wedding day, or purchasing their first home, or bringing home their first child, and craving going back to this stage. The best way to preserve this chapter of their life is through high-quality, professional images that represent their personality. Not only will you have beautiful photos to look back on, but you can also create keepsakes such as canvas prints, framed prints, albums, and more to ensure you can relive the memories for years to come.
We highly encourage your child to express themselves in their photos- bring any props or items of value that they choose, wear what feels like them, and pick a location with significance to them! We'll create a balanced gallery of both candid images capturing their natural expressions and curated images that you'll want to submit to the yearbook.

OUR PROCESS
01
initial meeting
After you reach out, we will be in touch within 48 hours to chat more about your session.
Through email or a phone call, we'll discuss your session in more detail, and design the perfect session for your senior.

MAKING IT OFFICIAL
We'll make it official by completing a custom proposal tailored to your session. Then, we'll send over a welcome brochure that will help us gather more information and provide you with helpful tips and tricks for your session.

your session
This is the fun part! We'll meet at the perfect location and capture stunning images of your senior. Be sure to tag along to provide moral support (and help hold their phone). We also encourage seniors to bring a friend to hype them up!

delivering your images
The turnaround time is usually between 4-6 weeks for senior galleries, and you'll have sneak peeks in your inbox no later than 48 hours after our time together!
Our editing process consists of standard color, exposure corrections, and light touch-ups for portraits.
Once you receive your gallery, you'll gain access to our print shop, where you can order and create a variety of physical copies of your images to cherish forever.
Will you travel to photograph my Session?
Absolutely! All of our portrait packages include up to 50 miles of travel from 78232 and 80128 (San Antonio, TX, and Littleton, CO). We offer all-inclusive destination packages for all other locations. But we can chat more specifically during your consultation :)
what if my kiddo is awkard in front of the camera?
I've got you! I promise that during our time together, the awkwardness will last maybe five or ten minutes before they loosen up and start forgetting the camera is even there.
My process works so well because it is movement and interaction-focused. Your kiddo can't focus on how strange it is to have
the paparazzi following them when they're explaining what "drip" means to their photographer (who can't keep up with all of these new words) and their curious parent ;)
how far in advance should we book you?
We typically open our books three months in advance, so reach out ASAP to ensure we save your date!
What happens if you can't attend my session anymore?

After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions, I think it's safe to say I've seen just about everything. Whether it's rain, extreme heat, snow, or a sharknado, we've got your back. We are cool under pressure and think quick on our feet, so you can relax, knowing that rain or shine, we won't miss a thing.
How do you protect my images before delivery?
- Using dual-slot cameras that record to multiple SD cards
- Retiring older SD cards on a regular basis
- Backing up your images to multiple locations ASAP after your session
- Keeping your original and edited images for at least one year after delivery

The Investment
We believe that your photography experience should be easy and tailored to you, so our packages are built to be customized with add-ons.
Based on your vision, we will work together to create a package custom-fitted to your needs. Portrait photography starts at $250, with the average KDC client investing $500.
