If you’re dreaming of a wedding day that feels like a hidden garden escape in the heart of the city, this is it. Jeremy and Mariangela’s intimate Japanese Tea Garden wedding at Brackenridge Park had everything: sunshine, tears, laughter, and so much love.

A Sunny, Intimate Winter Japanese Tea Garden Wedding in San Antonio
Who says winter weddings have to be chilly?
Jeremy and Mariangela’s December day was absolutely glowing — warm sunshine, lush greenery, and a peaceful vibe that made the whole ceremony feel almost magical.
They gathered about 30 of their closest family and friends at the Japanese Tea Garden at Brackenridge Park, one of the most beautiful hidden gems in Downtown San Antonio. With winding stone paths, waterfalls, and tropical plants everywhere you turn, it was the perfect backdrop for a quiet, heartfelt wedding.

Sweet Moments That Made the Day
The ceremony was packed with emotion — you could feel it from the very first step down the aisle. Mariangela’s brother walked her in, and during the vows, she couldn’t help but shed a few tears (honestly, neither could a few of their guests).
Even more special? They had family tuning in virtually, so loved ones who couldn’t travel still got to witness the moment.
Their unity sand ceremony was such a personal, meaningful touch too — symbolizing not just their union, but the blending of their families and stories.

Natural Romance + Candid Joy
One thing about photographing Jeremy and Mariangela — they made it easy. They were naturally so affectionate, playful, and connected that portraits felt effortless. No stiff posing needed. Just genuine smiles, forehead kisses, and hand squeezes in between the shots.
The sun filtering through the gardens made everything glow — seriously, it felt like we stepped into a tropical daydream right in the middle of San Antonio.
And with only 30 guests, every single moment felt intentional. Every hug, every laugh, every happy tear got to take up space.
